My name is Jessie van Niekerk - I developed and finaLly launched bubbel out in 2025 - after 3 years R&d - AND am a professional surfer on the World Surf League CHALLENGER TOUR [since 2023].

BUBBEL OUT DEVELOPS AND OFFERS plant-protein (Gluten & Dairy free) products made from natural ingredients.

The background to the business is that I had always struggled with all the challenges of refuelling and TRAINING, while travelling and COMPETING [competitive surfers are constantly on the move, event to event, and visit some very challenging locations throughout the average 40 - 50 flights annually], apart from multiple training sessions during normal days AS WELL.

For years I travelled with protein powder (sourced and mostly hard to find), seeds, oats and all sorts of natural ingredients - only and mostly to simply run out or max out on my luggage allowance. I started working with manufacturers on various products, bars, protein powders and the like, and launched the first product in July 2025 - a peanut butter flavoured, 17g protein bar of nuclear proportion!!!!

A range of further products have and are in development, through various regulators in different countries - the USA and u.s. federal food & drug administration, as primary market* - which will be released in time. I have an amazing team in my mom and dad - who have a long full-time sports as well as sport science background - THAT LEND A HIGH LEVEL OF TECHNICAL INPUT [needless to mention an amazing, amazing, amazing team in my manufacturers who live and breathe quality, excellence and mindblowing problem solving and creativity!]. physicality, competition, sport and business are therefore in our DNA and super stoked to be able to create and bring to life products that are so close to our core values as well as partner with a host of retail outlets that share our lifestyle, PRODUCT QUALITY REQUIrEMENTS and convictions.
